Deb au Nare is an award-winning burlesque performer whose signature mix of classic burlesque costuming and silly storylines always leaves the audience laughing and longing for more!
Surrounding herself with the love and beauty of local drag queens, Deb started out as a club dancer in her hometown of Jacksonville, FL in 2007. Immediately drawn to this fantastical world, Deb found her passion in burlesque. After performing solo for three years, she teamed up with Sammy Sutra and created Jacksonville's first burlesque troupe, Bada Bing Babes Burlesque.
In 2013, Deb moved to the mountains of Asheville, NC and two years later, opened up the Burlesque Academy of Asheville.
In 2017, she began producing the weekly Risque Monday, burlesque show at The Odditorium in West Asheville which hosts a mix of amateur and professional entertainers.
Deb au Nare has performed in cities all over the country, including New Orleans, Dallas and Chicago as well as headlining shows in Toronto and NYC. She has taken classes from such renowned performers as Jo Weldon, Dirty Martini and Perle Noir. Her work has been featured on the TV show America's Got Talent, and won the burlesque title, Princess of Southern Exposure 2013.

Featured in Bustle Magazine for non-cheesy Valentine's day date ideas. For creating the first Burlesque troupe in Jacksonville, FL, she was featured in the Florida Times Union and Spinnaker newspapers. For her work in the Asheville burlesque scene, she was featured in the Asheville Press, Descubre Asheville, The Tribune, The Blue Banner and WLOS News. Deb has been featured on several blogs including Hero Hotties and Ashevegas, both of which were for her burlesque-styled Kitana cosplay and routine. She has also been featured on a local Asheville based podcast, Brewpon. Other publications Deb has been in include 904 and Prick magazine.
